While creating the first Painter's Case (to the client's specifications) I got to thinking about how I could alter the design to fit my personal aesthetic tastes and logical outlook.

While utilizing the same dimensional plan of the original box, I made a few tweaks. These tweaks included using thicker wood both for the paneling and framework and the beveling of the box edges, which gave balance to the beveled handle ends.

I feel that my changes added rigidity and durability to the case while (in my humble opinion) gave the case a more dynamic and striking appearance.

The case will carry two 11 x 14 artboards in the lid.
