The outside of the door's window panes were not sealed correctly, and over the years water seeped in. Sections of the wood at the bottom of the door were rotten all the way through. This particular job posed a slight challenge, as the left door was built into the frame and had to be repaired without removing it. I could have filled the gaps with bondo or wood putty, but I thought it best (considering the amount of damage) to replace the worst of the rotten wood.
