Cedar Potting Cabinet.

My clients have an extensive and diverse garden. They quickly outgrew their gardening work area (see below) and felt the need for a decent place to do their gardening business.

We were calling it a "Potting Station" early on, but that just seemed an inadequate description.

  • Double-sink with drains to both the sewer and to the garden.
  • Two double-trash bins. One set for trash and one set for soil related products.
  • Plenty of drawer space.
  • Adjustable shelving.
  • Chicken wire paneled cabinet doors.
  • The top unit has Aromatic Cedar shelving and slatted back.
  • The finishing stain/sealant, applied by my client, is what made it look good.
This was a fully collaborative effort. It took 3 months of design tweaks before we even started looking for materials. In addition to staining the unit, the handles and hinges were selected and installed by my client.

It's a beauty.
